Proof.It Rentals was the first startup that I founded along with two other people. Proof.It Rentals was finalists in the Slaight Business Plan Competition hosted by Ryerson University and received funding from Summer Company, a program funded by the Government of Ontario's Ministry of Economic Development and Trade. Lead software engineer developing a database-backed web application with features such as Google Maps, geolocation, authentication, authorization and user profiles/accounts. Roles also included design, blogging, SEO, web copy and emails on behalf of the company.
In charge of an area numbering around 1500 voters. Responsible for volunteer recruitment, volunteer training, canvassing neighborhoods, promoting information on early voting and ensuring that residents’ votes were cast by Election Day.
